Minimum Hiring Requirements

    • Must be at least 23 years of age at the time of application.
    • Must have 24 months current/recent (24 months out of the past 36 months) verifiable OTR experience with truck-load carrier, pulling 48-53’ dry vans.
    • Must reside in the same state where your CDL was issued. Or apply for a new license within 30 days of hire date to your current residency.
    • No endorsements are required.
    • Must have a clean safety record and PSP report.
      • No Wreckless driving convictions within the last three years.
      • No recent DOT recordable accidents.
      • No failed or refused drug or alcohol screenings.
      • No DUI or DWI’s in the last 5 years.
      • Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening before being hired as an employee for TCAR.
      • Must have a stable work history with no more than five (5) jobs in the past 36 months.

ASSIGNED EQUIPMENT – No slip-seating. Our company trucks are the finest on the road! Our drivers enjoy assigned late model Volvo and Kenworth’s equipped w/APU and inverters. 63″ Unibilt Sleepers pulling 53’ dry vans.

Running Lanes & Service Areas

If you live within the pink shaded areas, we can get you home every weekend.

Running Area ………………… No extreme NE!! Our drivers run up North as far as the Virginia area. Nothing below Jacksonville, FL. And no further West then Chicago, St. Louis down into the Houston/Dallas area of Texas.

Our TX and FL drivers can expect to see home every other weekend for 2 full days of home time.

Company Solo Driver Pay Scale

We offer a $2,000 sign on bonus!!

  • Our pay scale is a predetermined calculation based on the drivers experience, job stability and safety record.

Owner Operator Driver Benefits

  • Base Pay for all miles is now at $1.05CPM plus fuel surcharge
  • $0.05CPM for all Hazmat miles, with a minimum of $25.00 up to 500 miles. Empty/Loaded miles pay the same!
  • No forced dispatch! 100% no-touch, 70% drop-n-hook!
  • Fuel availability on the yard.
  • Settlements weekly by direct deposit, settlement check, or you can choose to have your money loaded to your EFS card.
  • No charge for permits! Base plate is free!
  • Bobtail $6.93 weekly deduction (Annual Premium ($360.00)).
  • Occupational Accident Insurance $33.70 weekly deduction.
  • Physical damage (3.75% Declared Value)
  • Deposit for insurance liability (liability or cargo claims) $2000.00 to be collected at a weekly rate of $50.00.
  • Security Deposit/Leasing – $2000.00 – to be collected at a weekly rate of $50.00.
  • *QUALCOMM $10.00 weekly deduction.

Minimum Hiring Requirements

    • Must be at least 22 years of age or older at the time of application.
    • Must have 6 months or more of verifiable OTR experience. OTR experience consists of: Covering all weather terrain in at least 5 states or more in a 48 – 53’ trailer.
    • Must reside in the same state where your CDL was issued. Or apply for a new license within 30 days of hire date to your current residency.
    • No endorsements are required.
    • Must have a clean safety record and PSP report.
      • No Wreckless driving convictions within the last three years.
      • No recent DOT recordable accidents.
      • No failed or refused drug or alcohol screenings.
      • No DUI or DWI’s in the last 5 years.
      • Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening before being hired as an employee for TCAR.
      • Must provide a complete 10 year work history along with any required documentation needed during the hiring process.

Intermodal Owner Operator Driver Benefits

  • 75% of load plus fuel surcharge!
  • Settlements weekly by direct deposit, settlement check, or you can choose to have your money loaded to your EFS card.
  • No charge for permits! Base plates fee is $35.00 weekly!
  • Bobtail $6.93 weekly deduction (Annual Premium ($360.00)).
  • Occupational Accident Insurance $33.70 weekly deduction.
